Some of you may well remember a game called Rock Star Ate My Hamster, a comical business sim in which you had to manage a band with the aim of getting to the top of the pop charts. Well, Lula (or Wet to give the game its European name) is a bit like that, except you have to manage your way from fugitive amateur photographer to porn industry bigwig.

You may be aware that Lula has been selling steadily for well over six months - mainly to young anoraks sneaking a copy to the sales assistant in the hope of spending the next six months with one hand choking a swollen gherkin (presumably their own) and the other dancing intermittently between a sticky mouse and a strategically-placed box of super-absorbent wipes. Perhaps the game should've been called Porn Star Ate My Beaver instead.
The first part of the game basically involves taking photos and videos of Lula and selling them on. Occasionally, you'll have to find another girl for her to play with, or some lubricants or even a 'moist-a-rater'. But after watching a few still shots jerking around, you soon realise how incredibly dull the whole enterprise is. It's impossible to get anything wrong and after a couple of hours of 'going through the motions' it's with some 'relief' that you reach the next section. There you must hire screenwriters, sales staff, actors and secretaries, and buy up production buildings - all to make more movies that, in the real world, would warrant a full police investigation on the grounds that they were shite.

Lula is one of those rare games where you wished the developers had used gratuitous FMV rather than flickbook animation. As a business sim it's simplistic at best. As a comedy adventure it's non-existent. As something to thrash yourself off to it's just desperate. Instead, get yourself a modem. Go to www.altavista.digital.com and type in 'saggy udders' - you'll have a lot more fun.

iCoco is a fun and easy to use program that creates icons out of pictures, based on a template. You can make folder icons, harddisk icons, cd-rom icons with your favorite pictures on it. In fact you can make any shape, circle, star, characters and add any structure like bevel, dropshadow or highlight. A set of templates is included but you can make your own. iCoco can be used to create project icons, client icons, birthday, Christmas, in love, financial icons, fun icons, family icons, baby icons, party icons etc. etc. Just choose a template and drop a picture on the application, icoco will create a new folder icon for you or apply it to an existing file or folder. How does it work?
First you need to open a picture. You can do this by clicking the open icon or by dropping a picture on the application window or icon. Then you can choose a template from the popupmenu. Maybe try a few to see which you like best. Then choose one of the toolbar buttons or the corresponding menu's. You can create a new foldericon. You can apply the icon to an existing folder. You can apply the icon to the parent folder, that is the folder in which the picture can be found. And you can apply the icon to a file. Its smart and simple, try it, you'll like it.
New in this version:
- Now it's possible to apply 6 image filters before creating an icon; sharpen, smooth, colorbalance, greyscale, contrast and brightness
- Added templates

Previous version:
- Easier template navigation; buttons and keyboard shortcuts added
- Fixed bug that caused iCoco not to launch on some systems
- Applied proper interface capitalizations
- Minor bug fixes

- iCoco now can change volume icons, like harddisks, removables and cd-roms (to be burned)
- More and updated templates
- Added an option to export icons as images
- Added an option to save icons as png with transparency

A man entranced by his dreams and imagination is lovestruck with a French woman and feels he can show her his world.

Cast(Credited cast)

Gael García Bernal ... Stéphane Miroux

Charlotte Gainsbourg ... Stéphanie
......

[first lines]
Stephane: ¡Un, dos, tres, cuatro!
[Stéphane plays the drums, then the piano, then moves the cameras. "Stéphane TV"]
Stephane: Hi, and welcome back to another episode of "Télévision Educative". Tonight, I'll show you how dreams are prepared. People think it's a very simple and easy process but it's a bit more complicated than that. As you can see, a very delicate combination of complex ingredients is the key. First, we put in some random thoughts. And then, we add a little bit of reminiscences of the day... mixed with some memories from the past.
[adds two bunchs of pasta]
Stephane: That's for two people. Love, friendships, relationships... and all those "ships", together with songs you heard during the day, things you saw, and also, uh... personal... Okay, I think it's one.
[Red smoke comes out of the pot]
Stephane: There it goes. Yes! Yes.
[coughs]
Stephane: Okay, we have to run.

The Trio are fronted by singer Martyn Jacques who trained himself as an opera singer with a castrati style voice of heartbreaking beauty, whilst living alone above a strip joint in Soho for seven years.
Until he was 30, Martyn Jacques was living in a tiny flat in London's vice district, selling drug paraphernalia in the market and taking sporadic singing lessons. "I was living a kind of shady existence," he says. "I had a few criminal ways of making a living, just surviving; I never had a job, I didn't like working. That was really what I did for about 10 years before I bought an accordion and started the band."

Jacques, whose remaining hair is long and hangs in a stringy grey plait down the middle of his back, is the guiding spirit and piercing falsetto voice of the Tiger Lillies. At 19, when everyone else was into punk, he was listening to Kurt Weill and Billie Holiday."

Accompanied by drummer Adrian Huge, whose appearance was described by David Byrne as James Joyce on drums, and who must doubtlessly be one if not the most famous drummer to frequently exchange his drumsticks in favour of rubber chickens and toy babies, and double bass / musical saw player Adrian Stout. Jacques plays accordion as he sings savage and passionate songs about the darkest side of human nature, his voice soaring and growling like a man possessed.
Musical Influences include:
Gypsy music, Russian music, Greek folk, Blues ( early recordings) , Italian Opera (early recordings), Kurt Weil, 30's Berlin cabaret, French chanson, Flamenco.

What about the time?
You were rollin' over
Fell on your face
You must be having fun
Walk lightly!
Think of a time.
You'd best believe
This thing is real

Put away that gun
This part is simple
Try to recognize
What is in your mind
God help us!
Help us loose our minds
These slippery people
help us understand

What's the matter with him? - (He's alright!)
How do you get over? - (The lord won't mind..)
Don't know no games - (He's alright!)
Love from the bottom to the top!
Turn like a wheel! - (He's alright!)
See for yourself! - (The lord won't mind..)
We're gonna move! - (Right now!)
Turn like a wheel inside a wheel!

I remember when
Sittin' in the tub
Pulled out the plug
The water was runnin' out
Cool down
Stop acting crazy
They're gonna leave
And we'll be on our own
Seven times five
They were living creatures
Watch 'em come to life
Right before your eyes
Backsliding!
How do you do?
These slippery people
Gonna see you through

What's the matter with him? - (He's alright!)
How do you get over? - (The lord won't mind..)
Don't know no games - (He's alright!)
Love from the bottom to the top!
Turn like a wheel! - (He's alright!)
See for yourself! - (The lord won't mind..)
We're gonna move! - (Right now!)
Turn like a wheel inside a wheel!

Alright!
The lord won't mind..
Alright!
Love from the bottom to the top!
Alright!
The lord won't mind..
Right now!
Turn like a wheel inside a wheel!

Eugenio a facut ceva fabulos!

Cati dintre noi traiesc in realitatea obiectiva?

vizionare placuta

Asa..
Am cautat..am vizionat...si asta urmeaza:
Cica este un basm popular..dragutz..hehehhe.
Si isi are originea din antichitate..mai exact perioada greco-egipteana(nu eu am zis-o :) si pe domnisoara o chema Rhodopis si prima oara a aparut in scrieriile istorice(BC) a unui anume Strabo (istoric bineinteles).
O alta varianta apare si in A.D. 860.
O alta versiune foarte cunoscuta in care fata are numele Aschenputtel s-a inregistrat de germanii Brothers Grimm in secolul 19th .

is the traditional celebration of the beginning of the spring in Romania and Moldova, on 1 March. The day's name is the diminutive of March (in Romanian Martie), and thus means something like "little" or "dear March". Nowadays, men offer women a talisman object also called Mărţişor, consisting of a jewel or a small decoration like a flower, an animal, etc., tied to a red and white string. However, giving a little nickel tied to a red and white string is an old custom and was originally designated for both men and women. It was believed that the one who wears the red and white string will be powerful and healthy for the year to come. The decoration is a symbol of the coming spring. A woman wears it pinned to her blouse on this day and up to two weeks after. Occasionally, women also give such gifts to men. In some parts of Romania such as Moldova or Bukovina the symbol of spring was a gold or silver medal which was worn around the neck. After wearing the coin for twelve days, they bought sweet cheese with the medal, because it was believed that their faces would remain beautiful and white the entire year.

History

A sample generic Mărţişor
A sample generic Mărţişor

Mărţişor is the symbol of spring and also a celebration on the first of March. Its beginnings are still a mystery, but it is usually said that it originated in Rome, because New Year's Eve was celebrated on the 1st of March, the month of the god Mars. He was the god of agriculture and signified the rebirth of nature. For the Thracians, Marsyas-Silen, whose cult was related to the vegetation and the land, had the same attributes. The flower and nature celebrations were consecrated to him.

It is said that the Mărţişor originated from the Ancient Roman culture, where March (Martius) was the month of the war god Mars with a double role: both protector of agriculture and of war. This duality of symbols is kept in the colours of the Mărţişor: white and red, meaning peace and war (it might also symbolize winter and spring). This custom can be found in all areas where Romanians live. Bulgarians also have an almost identical tradition on the 1 March, called "Martenitsa".

If you remember the legend. In the year of our lord 1040, or perhaps it was 1057, the people of Coventry were crushed by heavy taxes imposed by their Lord, Leofric the Dane, Count of Chester, to finance his wars. His young wife, moved by the poverty of the people, implored him to reduce the charges. Knowing that she was extremely prudish, he threw down a challenge which he was sure she would never accept. To cross the town on horse back, covered by nothing but her long hair. Lady Godiva agreed ,on condition that her husband should never impose a tax again and that the people stayed cloistered at home with doors and shutters closed. This legendary tale has been illustrated many times in paintings, tapestries, sculpture and literature.

"Truly fine chocolates have several characteristics in common: they are always fresh, contain high quality ingredients like premium cocoa beans and dairy butter, are usually less sweet and feature unusual textures and natural flavors. Consequently, their taste differs greatly from less expensive chocolates, which tend to use artificial flavors and preservatives to achieve a longer shelf-life." Thierry Muret, Master Chocolatier, Godiva Chocolatier.

The Story of Godiva Chocolatiers

Godiva's history began more than seventy-five years ago in Brussels, Belgium when master chocolatier Joseph Draps founded a chocolate company that was named in honor of the legend of Lady Godiva.

At the age of fourteen, Joseph Draps went into the family business. It was there that he developed both his ability and creative talent as a master chocolate maker as well as his business sense. He then decided to create a prestige range of chocolates and to give it an evocative name.

It's not surprising that Godiva Chocolatier Inc., one of the creators of the world's most elegant, hand-crafted chocolates, originated in Brussels, Belgium. For generations, Belgium has had a tradition of perfectionism, from its Rubens paintings and gothic architecture to products made of intricate lace, glittering crystal and its fabulous cuisine.

In keeping with this tradition, the Draps family introduced Belgium to Godiva Chocolate in 1926. Later, Joseph opened the doors to his shop on a cobblestone street on Grande Place . He named his family's chocolate company "Godiva". Draps perfected a unique formula of rich chocolate with unparalleled smoothness. With a remarkable eye for detail, he set forth the standard for Godiva's innovative selection of elegant, European shell-molded designs and beautiful packaging.

Through the years, these standards have been maintained as assiduously as Draps' recipes have been guarded. As a result of this adherence to Draps heritage, Godiva Chocolates evoke the greatest in confectionery excellence. The same careful attention to quality is apparent in the exquisite European-style gold ballotins and handcrafted seasonal packaging that have earned Godiva a reputation for design excellence.

Since its introduction to America in 1966, Godiva continues to be the leader in the premium confectionery category. There are more than 200 Godiva specialty boutiques in major U.S. cities, as well as over 1,000 additional outlets in fine department and specialty stores. From New York to Paris to Tokyo , it is Godiva that brings the best of Belgium to the world.
